Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Auburn University. My work examines how novel technology, design goals, or policies impact the people designing complex systems. My research blends technical approaches like modeling and optimization, while incorporating the human impact through cognition and behavioral analysis. My research has received over $400K in funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Defense (DoD), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

My research has received the Systems Engineering Research Consortium (SERC) Barry Boehm Award and the Wiley Systems Engineering Top Cited Article and Top Read Article Awards. I was a 2021 International Amelia Earhart Fellow and an Alabama Space Grant Fellow. I am serving as a Board Member of the Engineering Society of Systems Scholars (ESSyS).
